VBG awards Aggreko Deutschland GmbH the "Arbeitsschutz mit System" (safety at work with system) certificate
Safety at work with Aggreko
Dorsten/Hamburg. Aggreko Deutschland GmbH has been awarded the "AMS Safety Award" certificate by statutory accident insurance organisation VBG. The company has had its safety at work management system checked by the VBG in accordance with national and international standards and consequently fulfils the 12 safety at work criteria of the VBG. Dr. Manfred Müller, Head of Prevention of the VBG District Administration in Duisburg, presented the AMS certificate to Aggreko General Area Manager of Germany Marcus Lecher.
"The AMS certificate enables us to show that we take our responsibility to our employees and customers very seriously when it comes to safety at work. Aggreko has set itself a global objective to perform its operations in a safe and responsible manner", explained Marcus Lecher during the award ceremony, about the drive of Aggreko Deutschland GmbH to achieve certification. He adds, "The certification is another step in our quest to prevent accidents at work and to continuously improve ourselves".
The "Safety Award" certificate ensures that accidents at work will also continue to be prevented", said Dr. Manfred Müller from the VBG, "but not only that: integrating safety at work into operational procedures has equal benefits for management and employees, and ultimately the customer as well".
